Jennifer DeMarco, PT, DPT, MPH, COMT

Jennifer earned a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from New York Medical College in 2015. As part of her doctoral project, she provided physical therapy services to an underserved community in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. 


She also worked in the Biomechanics Lab at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, where she helped patients with amputations learn to function with a prosthesis. She began her professional career in Chicago, which led her to open and manage a new physical therapy clinic in Michigan before moving to Wrightsville Beach. 


This background provides Jennifer with extensive experience in treating various pre- and post-surgical orthopedic injuries, acute and chronic pain conditions, and postural dysfunctions. She also enjoys treating the active population, including endurance athletes.

Jennifer’s Approach to Physical Therapy

Jennifer applies an individualized plan of care based on research and patient input. This enables her to create an efficient balance between stability and mobility for optimizing performance and reducing pain. 


She’s passionate about incorporating motor control through functional movement and pain science education to address perspectives on pain and quality-of-life.  Jennifer is trained in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Graston techniques. 


She has further distinguished herself by becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) enhancing her ability to treat all types of orthopedic conditions through manual therapy. Outside of work, Jennifer can be found Stand-Up Paddle Boarding on the water, running the trails, flowing through a sequence on her yoga mat, or enjoying some quality outdoor time with her dog Oreo.

Natalie Knight, PT, DPT

Natalie earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020 from Ithaca College’s accelerated DPT program in Upstate New York. During her time at Ithaca College, she was an active member of the Movement Analysis Lab where she was a part of various clinical research initiatives, including:

  • Spinal & Lower Extremity Joint Kinematics
  • Return-To-Sport Protocols
  • Kinesthetics 
  • Balance Assessments 


Natalie executed and analyzed the biomechanical research and movement analysis. Additionally, she played an essential role in composing abstracts and research papers that lead to numerous peer-reviewed presentations and publications.

Natalie’s Physical Therapy Origins

Natalie began her professional career in January 2021 after she moved to Wilmington from her home in Upstate New York. Prior to joining our team, she provided outpatient care where she treated patients of varying ages for: 


  • Pre- & Post-Surgical Injuries
  • Sports-Related Overuse Injuries
  • Preventative Care
  • Fall Prevention & Balance Training
  • Neurological & Orthopedic Conditions


Natalie is passionate about serving geriatric and neurologic patient populations, and she has a desire to serve others by educating the community on overall health and wellness. 


When not in the clinic, you can find Natalie exploring Wilmington and trying new restaurants. She’s often behind a camera lens, walking on the beach for a sunrise, or relaxing with a good book in her hand.
